Issue with Realtime Database: Intermittent failures on some namespace servers

Incident began at 2017-03-20 21:05 and ended at 2017-03-20 23:45 (all times are US/Pacific).

The issue should have been resolved for all affected projects as of 11:45 PM US/Pacific. We estimate that less than 5% of REST requests was affected. Realtime connections may have observed elevated latency. We will conduct an internal investigation of this issue and make appropriate improvements to our systems to prevent or minimize future recurrence. Apologies for the inconvenience.
