Issue with Firebase Storage downloads

Incident began at 2016-12-01 08:00 and ended at 2016-12-02 11:30 (all times are US/Pacific).

We experienced an issue with Firebase Storage where some objects were failing to download. This was for objects that had a name containing a ':' followed by any characters. The issue has been resolved for all affected projects. We will conduct an internal investigation of this issue and make appropriate improvements to our systems to prevent or minimize future recurrence.
