The issue with FCM Topic Messaging has been resolved for all affected users as of 21:00 US/Pacific. We will conduct an internal investigation of this issue and make appropriate improvements to our systems to prevent or minimize future recurrence.

The Firebase Messaging topic-messaging should be resolved for most users. Current data indicates that approximately 0.5% of requests are still affected (in latency or failure rate). Mitigation efforts for the remainder are continuing. We will provide another status update by 22:00 US/Pacific.

We are still investigating the issue with Firebase Messaging topic-messaging, although remediation efforts have improved the situation. Current data indicates approximately 7% of topic messaging publishing requests are affected (in latency or failure rate) by this issue. We will provide another status update by 20:00 US/Pacific with current details.
