iOS symbol uploads are failing intermittently

Incident began at 2020-11-18 10:52 and ended at 2020-11-18 12:37 (all times are US/Pacific).

The issue with Firebase Crashlytics has been resolved for all affected users as of Wednesday, 2020-11-18 12:36 US/Pacific.

Description: We are experiencing an intermittent issue with Firebase Crashlytics beginning at Monday, 2020-11-16 22:00 US/Pacific.

Mitigation work is currently underway by our engineering team. The team has identified the source of the issue. To properly address this an update will be released, this process along the udpates may take up to 24 hours as soon as the change is implemented.

The mitigation is expected to complete by Thursday, 2020-11-19.

We will provide more information by Wednesday, 2020-11-18 20:00 US/Pacific.

Diagnosis: Timeout errors when uploading symbols.

Workaround: Retry the upload of the symbols.
