The latency increase for Firebase Cloud Messaging has been mitigated for all affected users as of Tuesday, 2023-04-04 09:51 US/Pacific. The service has fully recovered, and our engineers continue to closely monitoring the service.

Mitigations have been put in place to address 5xx errors. Our engineering team is continuing to work on a mitigation for elevated latency. There is no ETA for the latency mitigation.

Mitigation work is currently underway by our engineering team. We do not have an ETA for mitigation at this point. We are observing a vast reduction in errors on our internal monitoring.
