Incident affecting Realtime Database

Issue with Firebase Realtime Database

Incident began at 2018-04-03 15:15 and ended at 2018-04-03 16:54 (all times are US/Pacific).

The issue with the Automated Backups should have been resolved for all affected users as of 16:54 US/Pacific. We will conduct an internal investigation of this issue and make appropriate improvements to our systems to prevent or minimize future recurrence.

We are currently investigating non-functioning Automated Backups on some projects. This affects ~15% of users. It began around 15:30 US/Pacific.

We are currently working on mitigation. We'll provide updates as soon as possible.
