Delays in cache purging and domain propagation

Incident began at 2019-08-10 14:00 and ended at 2019-08-10 22:50 (all times are US/Pacific).

Creation of certificates should have caught back up and is progressing at the normal rate. Everything appears to be back to normal.

Root cause has been found and fixes are rolling out.

Deploying new content should show up right away again. However the creation of Certs for newly added Custom domains may still be slow as we work through the backlog.

We are experiencing delays in our cache purging infrastructure when new versions are deployed and in our certificate propagation infrastructure.

New custom domains may be delayed in receiving certificates and deploys may take some time for new content to reflect.

We are investigating the root cause of this issue.
