Incident affecting Hosting

We are experiencing an issue Firebase Hosting serving HTTP 503 "time to first byte timeout" errors as of Tuesday, 2020-09-29 15:51 US/Pacific.

Incident began at 2020-09-29 16:33 and ended at 2020-09-29 17:00 (all times are US/Pacific).

The issue with Firebase Hosting has been resolved for all affected projects as of Tuesday, 2020-09-29 16:58 US/Pacific.

Description: We are experiencing an issue Firebase Hosting serving HTTP 503 "time to first byte timeout" errors as of Tuesday, 2020-09-29 15:51 US/Pacific.

Our engineers are currently working on a rollback to mitigate. We expect the rollback to complete within the next hour.

We will provide more information by Tuesday, 2020-09-29 17:45 US/Pacific.

Diagnosis: Affected customers are receiving an "503 "time to first byte timeout" error message.

Workaround: None at this time.
