Incident affecting Cloud Messaging, Authentication

Authentication requests going to Mozilla are failing at a 100% rate. All customers are unable to send notifications to Mozilla Firefox clients.

Incident began at 2022-07-28 09:00 and ended at 2022-08-20 09:26 (all times are US/Pacific).

Good news! The issue has been resolved. Users can now send notifications to Firefox clients. We once again apologize for the inconveniences this have caused and we truly appreciate your understanding and supports through out the process. As of 08/19/2022, we are working with Mozilla in investigating the root cause. Resolution time is undetermined right now. We truly apologize to all of you who are impacted by this outage.

We are experiencing an issue with Firebase Cloud Messaging beginning at Thursday, 2022-07-28 09:00 US/Pacific. The customers are unable to send notifications to Mozilla Firefox clients. Our engineering team continues to investigate the issue. We will provide an update by Friday, 2022-08-19 17:00 US/Pacific with current details. We apologize to all who are affected by the disruption.
