Incident affecting Predictions

"Not enough user data" errors displayed in Console

Incident began at 2021-02-23 10:59 and ended at 2021-02-26 00:17 (all times are US/Pacific).

The issue with Firebase Predictions has been resolved for all affected users as of Friday, 2021-02-26 00:13 US/Pacific.

The root cause is fixed. Prediction quality & availability will rapidly approach optimal performance over the next 7 days.

We thank you for your patience while we worked on resolving the issue.

Description: We are experiencing an issue with Firebase Predictions beginning as early as Tuesday, 2021-02-02 US/Pacific. Mitigation work is currently underway by our engineering team.

ETA for mitigation has been extended to end of day 2021-02-25.

We will provide more information accordingly.

Diagnosis: Errors displaying "Not enough user data" shown in the Console for a given Prediction.

Workaround: Removing the Prediction condition in the Remote Config dashboard.

Description: We are experiencing an issue with Firebase Predictions beginning as early as Tuesday, 2021-02-02 US/Pacific. Mitigation work is currently underway by our engineering team.

ETA for mitigation has been extended to end of day 2021-02-25.

We will provide more information by Tuesday, 2021-02-23 18:00 US/Pacific.

Diagnosis: Errors displaying "Not enough user data" shown in the Console for a given Prediction.

Workaround: Removing the Prediction condition in the Remote Config dashboard.
