Incident affecting App Hosting

Firebase App Hosting backend configurations in apphosting.yaml are not applied

Incident began at 2025-03-12 07:00 and ended at 2025-03-12 14:51 (all times are US/Pacific).

The incident has been resolved and apphosting.yaml will again modify your Run service config in future rollouts.
12 Mar 2025 14:07 PDT

A fix has been deployed to us-central1 and asia-east1 region. Fix will rollout to europe-west4 region soon.

The root cause of the identified issue has been determined. We are currently implementing a fix and deploying it to mitigate the impact as quickly as possible.

We are aware of an issue where backend configurations specified in apphosting.yaml, such as run configurations and environment variables, are not being applied to Firebase App Hosting Backends. This may affect the functionality of your web applications deployed on Firebase App Hosting. The team is investigating the issue.
