Issue with Firebase Phone Authentication

We are experiencing an issue with Phone Authentication for US Phone Numbers.

We experienced an issue with Phone Authentication that has been resolved for all affected users as of January 11th, at 11am US/Pacific . During the outage, SMS verification messages were not being delivered to US Carriers due to an issue with one of our downstream partners. We will conduct an internal investigation of this issue and make appropriate improvements to our systems to prevent or minimize future recurrence.
