Incident affecting Console

Global: Firebase email and in-console alerts may be delayed. Mitigation underway.

Incident began at 2021-10-06 13:00 and ended at 2021-10-08 07:57 (all times are US/Pacific).

The issue with Firebase Console has been resolved for all affected users as of Friday, 2021-10-08 14:17 US/Pacific.

Summary: Global: Firebase email and in-console alerts may be delayed. Mitigation underway.

Description: At this time 90% of the backlog of alerts have been processed.

The mitigation is expected to complete on EOD Friday, 2021-10-08 US/Pacific.

We will provide more information by Friday, 2021-10-08 18:00 US/Pacific.

Diagnosis: Customers may not receive email and in-console alerts on Firebase deployments.

Workaround: Customer can log into Firebase Console manually and view data.

Description: 55% of the backlog of alerts have been processed at the moment and mitigation tasks continue on the remainder.

Diagnosis: Customers may not receive email and in-console alerts on Firebase deployments.

Description: Mitigation work is still underway by our engineering team.

We are continuing to make process on the backlog, and new alerts should now make it through in a timely manner. Most alerts between 13:00 and 22:30 on Wednesday, 2021-10-06 US/Pacific have yet to be processed.

The mitigation is expected to complete by Thursday, 2021-10-07 14:00 US/Pacific.

We will provide more information by Thursday, 2021-10-07 15:00 US/Pacific.
