Incident affecting Realtime Database

Issue with Realtime Database

Incident began at 2018-12-12 14:42 and ended at 2018-12-20 16:30 (all times are US/Pacific).

The issue has been fixed for all affected projects. We will conduct an internal investigation of this issue and make appropriate improvements to our systems to prevent or minimize future recurrence.

We have identified the root cause and a fix is on the way. We will provide an update once it has been released.

There is an ongoing bug where Automated Backup Setup behavior for secondary databases is broken. We'll provide updates as soon as possible.
