Incident affecting Hosting

Some developers with very large file counts are seeing errors when deploying to Firebase Hosting.

Incident began at 2022-06-20 00:00 and ended at 2022-07-07 12:00 (all times are US/Pacific).

Underlying resources have been increased and the error rates in the API have been stable.

The error rate has been substantially lower over the last several days; continuing to monitor.

The error rate climbed again; we're taking a look into other mitigations now.

Some developers with very large file counts are seeing errors when deploying to Firebase Hosting. The error rate has remained small, and we are continuing to monitor these errors. We have identified an underlying issue and are working on getting a further mitigation in place.
