Incident affecting Realtime Database

Service Disruption on Firebase Realtime Databases hosted in us-central1 may cause downtime for 5% percentage of customers, beginning at Wednesday, 2021-02-24 05:56 US/Pacific.

Incident began at 2021-02-24 07:54 and ended at 2021-02-24 11:18 (all times are US/Pacific).

The issue with Firebase Realtime Database has been resolved for all affected projects as of Wednesday, 2021-02-24 09:50 US/Pacific. Our engineering team is monitoring the situation closely for any recurrences.

Description: We are experiencing an issue with Firebase Realtime Database hosted in us-central1 that may cause downtime for 5% percentage of customers, beginning at Wednesday, 2021-02-24 05:56 US/Pacific.

Mitigation work is currently underway by our engineering team. We do not have an ETA for mitigation at this point.

We will provide an update by Wednesday, 2021-02-24 11:30 US/Pacific with current details.

Diagnosis: Errors when accessing Firebase Realtime Database hosted in us-central1.

Workaround: None at this time.
