Incident affecting Authentication

Service Disruption for Authentication

Incident began at 2018-06-14 16:08 and ended at 2018-06-15 14:18 (all times are US/Pacific).

The issue with Authentication where new projects could not enable any Firebase Authentication service that depends on Firebase Dynamic links, should have been resolved for all affected projects as of 02:18 US/Pacific. We will conduct an internal investigation of this issue and make appropriate improvements to our systems to prevent or minimize future recurrence.

We are still investigating the issue with projects that use Firebase Dynamic links on Firebase Authentication services.

We are experiencing an issue where new projects cannot enable any Firebase Authentication service that depends on Firebase Dynamic links:

1.- Passwordless sign in with email link.

2.- Password reset flow (when redirect back to mobile app is requested)

3.- Email verification flows (when redirect back to mobile app is requested)

4.- Cordova OAuth flows in Android Apps.

Projects that are already setup should continue to work. For everyone who is affected, we apologize for any inconvenience you may be experiencing.
